Is there any free surgery for cats? i dont have alot of money she needs it?

i found a stray cat living under my shed, she was cold wet hungry and missing fer... thats not all she was missing i could tell she has been abused it looks like someone chopped her tail off with a hatchet but not very clean.. theres about three notches and whats left of it looks like a pigs tail all curly minggled and what not, it needs to come off but i cant afford anything with driving to work and paying for school. i know it hurts her we can tell when were petting her and get too close. i dont know how anyone could be thet cruel to such a cute kitty. i couldnt keep her because i already have too many pets, i gave her to my girlfriend the cat is still scared of any fast movement but she is doing much much she has food shes clean no more fer clumps nice warm house. we named her princess she loves being loved i call her my little moterboat sometimes :)
