Do people grunt when they eat?

my family says i make this low grunting noise when i eat :/ my mom says it sounds like i'm being comforted by my food, and my brother says i sound like a caveman. however, i don't hear it ever. i was wondering if anyone else has heard someone do this or does this themselves. and how common is this and why does it happen?
