In a way isn't Science and Rational thinking to blame for major wars? Not religion or God?

Ever since the first particles formed into activities they have been in an acceptance/rejection mode related to how and why they are to form in a material reality. Even as we head for life it is a big hassle as we fight and jostle for best and most propitious position only to end up on the floor of some ovarian wasteland or inside an egg, the only survivor after a tumultuous and chaotic race to the top, the rest of the sperm wasted and destroyed. Come a little further and we find we are no less prone to destroy whatever gets in our way or join it to become stronger and more dominant in what now appears to be humans killing other humans just because we have within us some extreme pent-up emotions. Religion got in the way, now we have something else than the truth to blame.
