I need help with my mascara ?! 10 points?

All my friends mascara looks great ! I want mine to show up really well like there's does and there's looks great in pictures and stuff but mine don't.. I have dark eyelashes & there medium length.. I have maybeliene falsies mascara (purple) But it doesnt work as well as I want it to! So any mascara's or ways to make them show up better without clumping ?
